Our goal is to offer quality products and great customer service with a knowledge and understanding of life in the great outdoors. Here at Patoka Outdoors we love the great outdoors as much as you do. We are nestled in the beautiful Country side of French Lick, Indiana. Just 10 minutes from Patoka Lake. The name Patoka (pronounced Puh-toe-kuh) has originations in both Eastern Europe and from the Native Americans who roamed this ground we call home.

We are a family owned business who takes pride in quality time, spent together- outside. From the lazy days of summer spent fishing and swimming at Patoka on our Ranger Boat, to the early days of fall bow-hunting with our two sons Dakota and Logan, whom also have a passion for the great outdoors. Our daughter Kiona, her love is camping, gathers us around the campfire for much needed time away from our everyday routine. Memories are made for our family in the outdoors.

Founded by Doug Partenheimer, who has held a lifetime hunting license since the age of thirteen. He doesn't have one passion- he loves it all. From archery, hunting, fishing to 4-wheelers. His passion drives him to share what he knows. His knowledge is tested through experience. The experience is encouraged by his fiance’, Melissa. Who knows when hunting season is here- Doug is not. The sign on their home reads- "A hunter lives here with the DEAR of his life" (Thanks Melissa).
